Neatsfoot oil is favored for treating and preserving

leather. Brush on product all over softball glove, including where you place your hand.  Place softball or several pairs of socks (about the size of a softball) inside pocket of glove.  Loosely tie

a shoe string around glove.  Let sit over night.

Wipe excess oil off with paper towel.

This adds years of health to your

glove + makes glove more flexible

to catch those tuff fly balls, if

you know what I mean.

This product or similar leather conditioners may be found at the grocery stores or at sports stores.

Garden Party

13th Annual

Well the “Garden Party” is behind us.  What a fancy party.  I had a super time.  Flowing wine, tons of yum food.  Ran in folks from high school, if you can believe that.

Money wise, I hear tell it was a success!  From donations from people like you and me + funds from “The Decatur Women’s Sports League”, more women will be getting

health care.

No telling how much work went into getting this party off

the ground, but my hat is off to the volunteers and workers from the Health Initiation.
